IGS shines at Schools Expo

IGS recently attended the North Shore Schools Expo, a great opportunity for prospective families to meet IGS students and staff and find out more about IGS.

This year’s Schools Expo, on 13 and 14 August, had more than 3,000 visitors attending over the two days.

The IGS Admissions Department described the event as a “wonderful opportunity to showcase everything our school has to offer.”

Across the weekend a number of staff and students volunteered their time to represent our school and speak to prospective families.

“Thank you to our wonderful staff and students across the Primary, High School and Admissions team who volunteered and made it a huge success,” said Admissions and Administration Officer Lisa Quin.

Head of Primary School Colin Bird remarked “As usual the Year 11 and Year 6 volunteer students stole the show”.

“Our students were there answering questions and really gave visitors a sense of the warmth and friendliness of the IGS community.”
