IGS Drama students are diving into the world of physical theatre this term with Swoop Physical Theatre, which has been educating students in the discipline for more than 20 years. We are excited to welcome back Swoop’s founder, Danielle McKinnon, as our 2025 Artist in Residence.
This year, students are exploring how music can shift the context of a scene, creating dramatic silent scenes and maintaining focus while balancing in pairs.
Swoop is helping students refine their work and create engaging visual theatre in a safe and collaborative environment.
