IGS students achieve multiple HSC showcase nominations

IGS students from the Class of 2022 have been nominated for several HSC showcases.

The showcases celebrate exemplary work in each discipline from a state-wide field of candidates.

So far, a number of IGS Drama students have been nominated for OnSTAGE. See our coverage here. We congratulate Madiba Doyle-Lambert on his film being selected

In addition, Holly Matthews’ major work has been nominated for both the Texstyle and Shape showcases.

Warmest congratulations, also, to Madiba Doyle-Lambert and Jake Mahemoff, whose Music performances have been nominated for Music showcase Encore.

We also warmly congratulate Year 11 student Jonathan Riesel who is studying Dance via acceleration with an Outside Tutor.

Jonathan’s Core Performance and Major Study Performance have both been nominated for inclusion in the 2022 HSC Showcases as part of Callback, a selection of outstanding performances and projects from HSC Dance students and will be held at the Seymour Centre in February 2023.

Congratulations also to two IGS Visual Arts students nominated for ARTEXPRESS, of whom William Smith’s artwork has been selected.

We are proud of all of our students who make the most of their opportunities.
