IGS students have excelled on the field and the course this month, with strong performances at both the CDSSA Senior Football Cup and the CDSSA Cross Country.
On 2 May, our Senior Football teams took part in the CDSSA Cup, with the boys delivering an impressive performance to secure third place and the girls putting on a spirited display to finish fifth. Both teams played with determination and skill throughout the tournament. The occasion also marked the debut of the new IGS Senior football kit.
On 19 May, IGS students braved cold and wet conditions at the CDSSA Cross Country, held at Wentworth Common in Sydney Olympic Park. Sienna V delivered a standout performance, finishing second in the 13-year girls’ category. A number of students qualified for the CDSSA team to compete at AICES next Thursday 29 May:
