Our Middle School leaders had the opportunity to attend the Future Leaders for Gender Equality gathering at Sydney Grammar School on Monday 18 May, joining students from independent schools across Sydney for an important and thought-provoking discussion.

The keynote speaker, Allegra Spender, shared valuable insights into leadership, civic responsibility and the challenges facing young people today, particularly in relation to gender equity and creating a more inclusive society. Students appreciated hearing directly from a federal Member of Parliament and business leader about the importance of respectful dialogue, advocacy and active participation in shaping the future.
The event provided a meaningful opportunity for our students to engage with peers from a range of schools, ask questions, exchange perspectives and reflect on how young people can contribute positively to conversations surrounding equality, representation and social change.
Thanks to Sydney Grammar School for hosting such a valuable initiative and for creating a space where student voice, leadership and collaboration were so strongly encouraged.
