The IGS High School Athletics Carnival brought students together for a day of competition and House spirit on Tuesday 16 June at ES Marks Athletics Field.
With colourful House shirts, creative costumes and enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines, the carnival was as much a celebration of community as it was of athletic achievement. From dinosaurs to Tinker Bell, students embraced the opportunity to showcase their House pride while supporting one another throughout the day.
Students competed across a full program of track and field events, including sprints, middle and long-distance races, shotput, long jump, javelin, high jump and more.
The carnival provided opportunities for students of all abilities to challenge themselves, demonstrate resilience and celebrate the achievements of their peers, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere across the day.
A special thank you to the High School PDHPE team and all staff who helped organise and run the event. Their efforts ensured the day was safe, enjoyable and successful for everyone involved.
Congratulations to all students who participated, challenged themselves and gave their best throughout the day!
