There are two options to give back to our Year 11 students as they embark upon their journey into Year 12:
We invite IGS parents, caregivers and Alums to submit expressions of interest to participate in our Mentoring Program to help us to equip our students to be world ready.
There are two options to give back to our Year 11 students as they embark upon their journey into Year 12:
Take on an IGS student for a holiday work placement, for as little as a day or as long as a few weeks—you decide what suits you best! IGS will provide a Certificate of Currency to cover all insurance needs for students in workplace environments. The program allows us to support and nurture our students as they transition from school to university or work.
We invite community members to come and speak to our students about their profession in a small group, allowing our students to explore various career opportunities.
We welcome people from all professions, including but not limited to: mathematics, music, science, technology, the arts and design. This initiative responds to one of our areas of action in the IGS Strategic Plan: to inspire meaningful engagement with local, national and global initiatives.
Please contact our Director of Advancement Paul Galea to register your interest for one or both of these programs. Please include your name, phone, email, a brief description of your profession and what you may be able to offer.
