IGS students, Maddy Hayen and Hugh Gibbon facilitated a Climate Fresk workshop for members of the Independent Education Union Environment Committee (IEU) on Tuesday 9 April. Both students are members of the IGS Sustainable Futures Club which is run by Head of Sustainability and IEU member, Carmelo Fedele. Mr Fedele is training the students to be facilitators and deliver engaging educational workshops on climate science.
Thank you Carmelo for motivating students to take the lead on sustainability initiatives within the School and beyond. IGS is excited to have a workshop for staff on the Term 2 PD Day facilitated by the students.
