Student book recommendations

It has been a busy back to school in the Bibliothèque, with students returning from the break eager to share their favourite holiday reads.

From mystery to adventure, fantasy to friendship, IGS students read a wide array of books covering a variety of genres.

Amelia of Year 4 Gold especially enjoyed Lights Under the Lake, the fourth book in Sophie Cleverly’s spine-tingling historical mystery series Scarlet and Ivy. Amelia said the book is “filled with lots of mysteries and adventures, as the two sisters unravel the secrets of the lights under the lake”. She highly regards the book, giving it a four and half star rating and says that she would 100 percent recommend it to a friend.

Our student recommendations have been added to a new display on Level 1 of the Bibliothèque. To see what Amelia and other students have recommended, or to recommend a book of their own choosing, students are encouraged to pop in to the Bibliothèque and have a chat to one of the Library Assistants or Teacher Librarians.
