Powerful and moving work in Year 12 Drama

Year 12 recently performed scenes and moments from the plays The Bald Prima Donna and The Laramie Project, which they study for the HSC.

“Students embody their cognitive learning and understanding by kinaesthetically making theatrical choices on the floor to interrogate a highly complex essay question,” Director of Dramatic Arts Rita Morabito said.

“Their work was both powerful and moving. Both Mr Manning and I are very proud of the students’ hard work, critical and creative skills and the commitment to ensemble work.”

Drama Leader Madiba Doyle-Lambert said “It was an incredible experience to see how the plays could be performed in so many different ways to impact audiences. The theatrical range and talent of my classmates were most impressive!”
