New Deputy Director of Early Learning

Welcome to Angelina Fossano

IGS is set to welcome Angelina Fossano as its new Deputy Director of Early Learning from Thursday, 4 April. Angelina, who brings 18 years of experience in early childhood education, will collaborate closely with the team to enhance the Centre’s operations and educational direction. In addition to her administrative duties, she will also take on teaching responsibilities in the Garrawan class on Mondays and Tuesdays. The transition for children is expected to be seamless, with continued support from educators Maya, Yasuyo, Emine, and Giulia.

Angelina’s educational approach is based on fostering respectful and responsive relationships, emphasizing the role of children as active participants in their own learning journey. She holds postgraduate qualifications in both Primary and Early Childhood Education from Macquarie University and has held various significant roles in the field.

Outside of her professional life, Angelina enjoys art, reading, hiking, and swimming, often alongside her daughter Ally. She is eager to contribute to the IGS community and establish meaningful connections within her new role.

Join us in welcoming Angela!
