ELC celebrates National Families Week

Families gathered to eat and play at the ELC this week

National Families Week (15 – 21 May) is a time to celebrate with family, connect with extended family and friends, and share in the enjoyment of family activities within the wider community. The aim of National Families Week is to not only celebrate the vital role that families play in Australian society, but to also reflect on the critical role that families play in teaching, supporting and nurturing children as they grow.

To celebrate National Families Week the Early Learning Centre hosted a family breakfast and open classrooms on Wednesday 17 May. Thank you to the many families who were able to join in. There was a joyous atmosphere, lots of conversations and children introducing their families to their friends and friends’ families. We continue to highly value being able to connect, chat and be together in person and learn more about our IGS families so that we can provide deeper care and education for your children.
