More than 100 IGS families choose to include the voluntary Building Fund contribution with every school fee cycle. This quiet, ongoing generosity plays an important role in caring for our School environment.
Your contribution is now directed into The IGS Foundation as part of a long-term investment fund. This approach will allow the School to responsibly plan for, prioritise and sustain the essential repairs and improvements that keep our spaces safe, welcoming and ready for play, learning and connection every day. Over the January school break we were able to:
- Resurface the basketball court and add new handball courts
- Install softfall surfaces and sun shades to the Level 4 outdoor area
- Improve gym facilities, including brand new flooring and equipment
- Improve music room acoustics
- Undertake important waterproofing maintenance works.
