This Friday, 30 October, it’s time to switch on the spotlights, in celebration of World Teachers’ Day! This year’s national theme was Shine a Light on Teachers, and at IGS we have so many brilliant educators that we’re going to need a very big torch.
Every day, our teachers bring dedication, care and energy to their classrooms, and the difference they make to our students and School community is extraordinary. They celebrate the milestones, nurture curiosity and shape futures.
To recognise some of the outstanding teachers at our School, our students have created a special video. It is a thoughtful reminder of the impact our teachers have on the young people they teach.
A very special thank you to our wonderful IGS P&C, who generously organised a morning tea for our staff. Their thoughtfulness of our staff is greatly valued, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive parent community.
To all our IGS staff, thank you. Your work makes a difference that reaches well beyond the classroom, and this celebration is so well deserved.
