Character work and production development in Drama

Our two Year 11 Drama classes performed the play Ruby Moon for a variety of audiences from Years 7 to Year 12 over the course of the past two weeks.

“This has been the culmination of their character work and production development for the term. The two classes chose to stage the play very differently,” Director of Dramatic Arts Rita Morabito said.

“Year 11 students were able to see how their characters were embodied by members of the other Drama class and found this to be fascinating and illuminating. The play is about a child that goes missing and the way the parents and community respond to this. Year 11 Drama students should feel very proud of their commitment to bringing this play to life.”
