Year 11 Drama go deep

Year 11 Drama students have created enticing poster and costume designs for the play Ruby Moon by Matt Cameron.

Students are currently working to bring their performances of Ruby Moon to life, and look forward to showcasing their work to an audience.

“In Year 11 students explore a range of possible HSC major work options that they can select from in Year 12. The options for the HSC include Performance, Theatre Criticism, Film Making, Scriptwriting, Critical Analysis Research, Design- Set, Lighting, Poster and Promotion and Costume. Students learn to play to their strengths to select and create their Individual Project,” Director of Dramatic Arts Rita Morabito said.

“They were shown some of the fabulous costume designs of Bob Mackie who is famous for Broadway, Film, and the fabulous styles worn by Cher, Pink, Elton John, Tina Turner, Dianna Ross and Lucille Ball, just to name a few.  All of these student and inspirational designs are on display on Level 3 of the Centre for Dramatic Arts.”
