Students heading off on the Red Earth trip fired up the barbeque earlier this week to raise funds for their upcoming community project. The group – who will soon be working alongside remote Indigenous communities – raised over $900 to support their work on Country.
The School community showed great generosity, with the Canteen supplying sausages and students from across the School supporting the fundraiser. Many returned for seconds, happy to contribute to a meaningful cause.
To top it off, raffle tickets were sold for the chance to win a $50 canteen voucher, adding extra buzz to the day.
The Red Earth team will depart Monday 7 July, ready to learn, connect and contribute through hands-on work with local communities – stay tuned.
