Primary School leaders step up

IGS Primary School leaders received their badges this week in a special assembly.

Leaders, students, parents and carers were serenaded by some of the School’s youngest voices before Deputy Principal Wellbeing Mary Duma presented the badges.

A group of young students in school uniforms stand on stage singing, guided by two adults demonstrating school leadership. An audience watches, as a screen behind displays International Grammar School.

Head of Primary School Colin Bird praised the leaders for promising to be “really good examples of the School values and the IGS Way” and also to be respectful to all, and to listen to ideas from other students about how to make IGS a great school.

A large group of pupils and adults, including Primary School leaders, pose and smile in front of a pink wall with the sign International School. Most wear uniforms; some adults stand at the back, and everyone is waving at the camera.

Four smiling children in school uniforms stand arm-in-arm in front of a Primary School entrance with a “Welcome” banner and a photo of pupils above them. An adult, one of the Primary School leaders, stands in the background near the entrance gate.
