OSHC community connects

The BBQ was a chance for our families, children and educators to celebrate the end of Term 1 and get to know each other.

On the last day of Term 1 IGS Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) hosted their inaugural community meet-up BBQ.

“The event was really well received by our families with a huge turnout,” said Head of Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) David Engelbert, who estimated there were more than 60 people — including children, parents and carers — in attendance.

Held in the Hall, the wonderful OSHC staff served sausages, salad and cold beverages to guests, while students from the IGS DJ Club provided the backing track for an evening of fun.

Other activities enjoyed by those in attendance included a piñata and fun sports games.

The families loved getting together, meeting each other and the educators. Look out for the next one!
