What do you value most about IGS and this community?
Our first visit to IGS was back in 2004. What struck me most from that day, is the same values the School holds dearly today. Kindness, understanding and acceptance. I love that the true value of an IGS education is not just about the present, but about what the students look back on in the rear view mirror and feel. The sense of understanding and appreciation that becomes clearer with time.
What has inspired you to support the School through your donations?
I love how IGS is genuinely invested into helping the community. Not just through policy but through real experiences. It truly sets IGS apart, in a meaningful way.
Why is supporting educational projects important to you?
Giving back is receiving.

What impact do you hope your gift will have on students and on the School community?
Every little helps to build the spirit and momentum [of philanthropy], believing in each other and that whatever happens today is the foundation of the future.
Is there a particular program, opportunity, or aspect of the School that you are especially passionate about supporting?
I am a keen supporter of the Indigenous Scholarship Program. It is also a nod to my family. My grandma was Indigenous, but she never had the opportunity of an education.

What would you say to other parents who are considering supporting the School?
Act with your heart and know that IGS has one of the biggest [hearts] in the educational space. IGS makes a difference. That is what matters.
