Eliot achieved top band results in Economics, English Advanced, English Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2.
“I’m absolutely over the moon about my results,” said Eliot, who has been at IGS since Year 2 and enjoyed the range of extra curricular clubs including Chess and Science.
He also took part in debating, master of the minds and Theatresports, and travelled to the US with IGS to attend Space Camp.
Eliot said he was particularly pleased with his HSC achievements in Maths and his English Extension 2 Major Work essay.
Tips from the top
Eliot said doing well was “mainly about attempting to maintain momentum with study planners, while keeping in touch with teachers”.
“My weekly mentor meetings with Mr Marchbank were an amazing opportunity to discuss anything and everything that I needed help with or bounce around ideas.”
Eliot hopes to pursue an Arts degree at the University of Sydney or University of Melbourne, beginning this coming semester.
