International Grammar School’s Mock Trial team competed in Round 2 yesterday evening against Pymble Ladies’ College in the Renaissance Centre. The case centred on a charge of reckless damage to a glass table, with both schools presenting thoughtful and highly competitive arguments for the prosecution and defence.
The IGS prosecution team worked collaboratively to present a clear and persuasive case, demonstrating excellent preparation, confidence and advocacy skills throughout the evening. While the team was ultimately unable to secure a conviction, their strong courtroom performance impressed the adjudicators and earned IGS a convincing win on points, 203–175.
Congratulations to all students involved for their professionalism, teamwork and commitment during another successful and engaging round of competition.
