Celebrating our IGS Class of 2022

Isabella Robaina has been at IGS since Year 9.

“I learnt French for a little bit and have been doing Spanish Continuers and Spanish Extension.

“I am thinking about architecture and engineering as possible careers.

“I’ve really loved all the opportunities we’ve been given at IGS, like camps.

“We weren’t able to go on the exchange programs or excursions because of the pandemic.”

Even so, she said she appreciated the opportunity to learn so much about other cultures outside of the School’s borders, to see the difference between the cultures of Australia, France and Spain, and realise the privileges Australians enjoy.

“I’m going to miss the comfort IGS gave me,” she said.

“It was an environment that was so welcoming.

“I’m also going to miss the normality of school life.”

We wish Isabella and the Class of 2022 all the best for the future!
