History and governance
The School was formed in 1983, commenced operating on 4 February 1984, and was formally incorporated as a non-profit company on 6 July 1984. The company is now known as The International Grammar School, Sydney, Ltd. It is limited by guarantee, and managed by a Board of non-paid directors. The current Board is made up of nine directors. Each director is a member of the company.
