With the School year coming to an end and the festive season approaching, the Jungaa Jarjums in Early Learning spent some time learning about and sharing their special celebrations and traditions.
The children were invited to share photos and moments and we learnt about birthdays, Christmas, Hanukkah, Japanese New Year and family visits.
The children were then invited to help create a special celebration for the last day of term. First they brainstormed ideas which included:

- Making decorations including flags
- Decorating the table and then sitting together and chatting at lunch
- Making one big card that everyone can draw and write on.
- A disco and party games
The Jungaa Jarjums threw themselves into the preparations with so much enthusiasm, creating a joyful celebration full of laughter, creativity and shared fun.
This activity is part of IGS’s wider commitment to learning about and celebrating diverse cultures, helping children appreciate the many ways families come together and share special moments.
