In June, our Year 6 students took part in the Day of AI, developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), i2Learning, CS in Schools and UNSW to introduce students to the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in a world that AI will power.
This culminated in the students coming up with ways that AI can be used to improve the School, which they presented through a video explaining their ideas and meeting several success criteria.
Congratulations to Chi Hin, Jerry and Oscar in 6 Green who were awarded second place in the competition.
They have won a $600 JB Hi-Fi voucher to purchase items for their classroom. The students have chosen to set up a vlogging studio — watch out for future Year 6 influencers!
