Families, teachers and students came together to farewell the 2025 Year 6 cohort in a special assembly. The event featured musical performances and speeches of gratitude, where students thanked their home class teachers and acknowledged the wider School community who had supported them throughout their time at IGS.
Principal Shauna Colnan, Deputy Principal Junior School Sarah Herbert and Head of Primary School Colin Bird were thanked for their guidance and support, as students made sure everyone knew how much their contributions had been appreciated.
The assembly concluded with the Year 6 cohort performing Counting Stars by OneRepublic, followed by an applauded exit from the hall. Students cheered, embraced one another and smiled, marking a joyful end to their Primary School journey.
