Year 7 Justin S and his team 878A had an outstanding achievement in the field of robotics. They recently won the 2024–2025 VEX Robotics National Teamwork Championship in Australia, recognising them as the best all-round team in the country’s Primary School division. As National Champions, Justin and his teammates have qualified to represent Australia at the VEX Robotics World Championship, to be held in Dallas, USA, from 10 to 14 May 2025.
This is a remarkable international opportunity for Justin and a significant academic and extracurricular milestone. Justin has long had a passion for programming and has been an active participant in the IGS After-School Coding Club, where he has continued to build and refine his skills.
