Profit with Purpose

Year 11 Business Studies students transformed the Hall into a buzzing marketplace on Wednesday for their annual Market Day, offering everything from slime and bracelets to carnival games, a nail and hair salon and a gaming station.

Students from Years 3 to 6 embraced their roles as enthusiastic consumers, making it a lively and energetic event.

The day raised a total of $2,749 with all profits donated to the IGS Indigenous Scholarship Fund a strong result that will now support student reflections on pricing, operations and marketing.

Thanks to our young entrepreneurs, eager customers in Years 3–6 and Humanities Teacher Gareth Douse, for making it all happen.
