Personal Achievement Poolside

Our School community came together on Tuesday 24 February for a vibrant Swimming Carnival filled with House pride, energy and inclusion. With a colourful lūʻau theme setting the tone, the pool deck was alive with music, costumes and chanting as students embraced the spirit of the day.

Personal achievement was evident throughout the day as students challenged themselves across a range of events. In the longer distance races and more demanding strokes grit and perseverance were on full display as competitors pushed through physical challenges to complete their races.

A highlight of the carnival was the inclusive race which saw students of all abilities taking part and being enthusiastically supported by their peers. This moment reflected our School value of personal achievement with students celebrated for participation, effort and confidence in the pool.

House spirits led chants that echoed across the pool creating a high-energy atmosphere and lifting swimmers in every event. Year 7 students experienced the buzz of High School life seeing the enthusiasm and leadership brought by House Leaders and Heads of House who helped set the vibe for the day.

We thank the High School PDHPE department for their hard work in the lead up and on the day ensuring a smooth event and a memorable experience for all involved.
