Three young children and an adult sit around a wooden table playing with blue playdough, moulds, cutters, and small tools as they explore new routines. Cups, rolling pins, and colourful sticks are also on the table.

New routines up and rolling

Early learners are settling into new routines as Term 1 progresses.

Now more familiar with their new spaces, teachers and educators, this week the children separated into their language groups for the first time.

Children followed country flags, held aloft by their language educators, into their separate learning spaces.

For some it was the first time of hearing their new additional language, and joining in singing the IGS Early Learning Good Morning Song in their language.

Music activities have also begun, and children are enjoying the many resources at their fingertips, inside and out.
