Congratulations to our Mock Trial team on a fantastic Round 1 victory against Emanuel School in Randwick. Representing IGS, barristers Auden Graves and Ben Grove led the team as they argued a complex contracts law case against Emanuel’s Year 10 and 11 students, officially launching the 2026 Mock Trial competition overseen by the Law Society of NSW.
After a challenging trial, IGS secured an impressive 30-point win, reflecting the strength of all six team members across their roles as barristers, solicitors and witnesses. The presiding magistrate, a practising barrister, commended the team and provided valuable feedback for the rounds ahead.
The team now looks forward to receiving the next case in early Term 2. We wish them every success as the competition continues.
