In Term 4 last year, Stage 2 students explored the library unit Rings of Responsibility, discovering how personal actions can shape the world around them – both locally and globally.
Focusing on positivity, students wrote letters of gratitude and encouragement to their favourite authors, learning the conventions of letter writing, how to find addresses and how to communicate safely.
Now, as replies arrive by email and post from best-selling authors across Australia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, the learning continues. Students are seeing real proof that small acts of kindness can travel across hills, mountains and oceans, and return with appreciation.
