Languages Shine at Assembly

Last week’s Primary School assembly was a showcase of languages, highlighting the talent and enthusiasm of our students. The event featured three engaging performances that demonstrated the importance of cultural diversity and language learning in our School community.

The assembly began with Year 6 students performing a drama skit about their grandmothers, demonstrating their progress in Italian. Year 4 followed with a German presentation titled Wir sind kleine Geister – “We are little ghosts.” Their Halloween-themed piece gave the audience a clear sense of their growing language skills. The final act was Year 4’s French performance, which included singing and a cooking segment. Students introduced vocabulary and expressions while sharing aspects of French culture.

Throughout the assembly, students showcased how their language skills have progressed over the course of the year, giving parents and carers an insight into their learning journey.

A big thank you goes to our dedicated Languages teachers for guiding students’ learning throughout the year and making this showcase of languages such a success.

Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication!
