The Junior School made a bright and joyful return to the IGS Colour Run on Friday 19 September at Wentworth Park.
After lunch, students streamed into the park buzzing with excitement, ready for an afternoon of running, colour and fun. As the laps got underway, the course quickly became a swirl of colour. Teachers and staff were waiting with coloured powder, while slides, sponge throws and cheering friends turned every lap into a highlight.
Alongside the fun was a purpose. Junior School students joined with the High School to raise funds for the Indigenous Scholarship Fund and the Building Fund.
Special thanks go to Paul Galea, Community Relations Manager, for bringing the Colour Run back, to our teachers and sponsors for their support and to The Zeritis Family, Zeina Tebbutt and Professor Allan Snyder FRS and family for their generous contributions, including a full matching of funds raised.
It was a colourful afternoon to remember for the Junior School – one that celebrated community spirit, House pride and plenty of fun.
