With both parents from Argentina, and Spanish being spoken in the home, Lucas was happy to join IGS in Year 5 and enjoy the School’s focus on languages.
Lucas was awarded IGS First Place in both Spanish Continuers and Spanish Extension at 2025 Speech Night.
Lucas also enjoyed sport at IGS, particularly taking part in football and touch rugby, as well as his economics and mathematics studies.
Lucas is very interested in studying civil engineering and commerce at university and has a number of options to consider.
He credits the IGS teachers for helping him to achieve his best, and recommends that other students speak out if they need clarification about anything.
“Always ask questions,” he said. “Teachers can be really crucial in the process. The more you ask and reach out, the better you will do.”
