On Sunday 15 February, International Grammar School participated in the 2026 Mardi Gras Fair at Victoria Park, with the stall supported by parents, teachers, students and members of the wider school community. The day provided an opportunity to engage thoughtfully with the community in a celebration of inclusion and connection.

Throughout the day, visitors were welcomed into a space filled with warmth and creativity. Participation in the event reflected the School’s ongoing commitment to creating safe and affirming spaces for all. Many visitors stopped by simply to chat, learn more about the School or say hello.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the teachers, staff, parents and families who volunteered their time to run the stall, as well as to everyone who came past to share in the day. In particular, we acknowledge the support of the P&C as well as Bern Foley and Jess Slater for their organisation and on-the-day support. Thank you too, to our Community Relations Manager Paul Galea, whose work made the stall possible.
