We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from Year 4 Green student Leila K, who recently placed third in the 12 and Under Demi Character category at this year’s Wollongong Eisteddfod!
Leila performed Jolly Holiday, a charming ballet inspired by Mary Poppins.
“This was Leila’s first ballet competition and she is so proud of her achievement – as am I,” said her mum, Chirine.
Leila began ballet at the age of five and has performed in her studio’s annual concert each year since. Taking the stage for the first time in a competitive setting, she danced beautifully alongside older and more experienced performers from ballet schools across the region.
