100 Days of Kindy 2024

Our Kindy students recently marked 100 days of Kindergarten with a series of activities that made the day memorable.

The celebration began with the children creating paper chains, each made up of 100 links. This hands-on activity was a fun way for them to visualise the progress they’ve made since the start of the school year.

After the morning activity, the students enjoyed a picnic lunch on the school roof. The rooftop setting provided a unique experience where they could enjoy their meals while chatting with friends and taking in the view. It was a simple yet enjoyable break from their usual routine.

Following lunch, the students got creative with 100s and 1000s fairy bread. Each student decorated slices of bread with colourful sprinkles, making for a tasty treat that added a bit of fun to the day.

The day concluded with a dance party, where the children had the chance to move around and enjoy some music. This final activity allowed them to celebrate their 100 days in a lively and interactive way.

We want to extend our thanks to the Kindy teachers who organised these activities and made the day special for the students. Their effort in planning and guiding the day’s events ensured that this milestone was celebrated in a meaningful way.

Here’s what some of our Kindy teachers had to say about this special day:

“We are so proud of all that you have achieved in your first 100 days, and cannot wait to see how much you do in the next 100!” Ms Mills

“It has been an incredible 100 days of school and I am so proud of each and every one of you. I couldn’t have asked for a better class and I am thankful to all of you for making every day brighter.” Mr Bolger

Congratulations to all our Kindy students on reaching this 100-day milestone. We’re proud of the progress you’ve made and look forward to what the rest of the school year holds.
