International Grammar School is a secular coeducational school located across five sites in Ultimo and Glebe. We educate 1300 preschool to Year 12 students in a unique multilingual environment. The learning of languages is at the centre of an IGS education, and Primary students experience partial immersion for 80 minutes a day from Year 1.
IGS is seeking an outstanding Primary School French teacher to teach Kindergarten and Year 3 French, to replace a teacher on parental leave, expected to be effective from mid-August until the end of Term 4 2021. The position will be over 5 days per week.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and collaborative teacher, with a good level of fluency and a passion for the French language and culture, and the ability to inspire students with a love of learning. A knowledge of the new K-10 French Syllabus and well-developed ICT skills to enable the creation of authentic and meaningful learning experiences are important qualities for this position.
