International Grammar is a vibrant and dynamic co-educational, secular school located in the heart of Sydney’s educational and technology precinct of Ultimo. Our unique bilingual program allows students from Preschool through Year 12 to gain fluency in multiple languages. The School has a current enrolment of 1,250 students in a multi-building campus. We are seeking an outstanding teacher and educational leader for this exciting new position.
Reporting directly to the Principal, this senior role will work closely with the Leadership Team, Heads of Department, Heads of Stage and the Director of Early Learning to enhance our professional teaching practice. The successful candidate will enhance teaching and learning, conduct lesson observations and provide high quality feedback to teachers across the School. Aligning teaching practices with the curriculum, the School’s strategic plan and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers is a key aspect of this role.

Experience, expertise and personal attributes
This role calls for a passionate and experienced educator with an outstanding record as a teacher and educational leader. The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications, preferably postgraduate, and have extensive experience across the NSW curriculum. Demonstrated abilities in evaluating teaching practices and providing high quality feedback are essential to this position.
Collaborative, empathetic, decisive and directional when necessary will describe the qualities of the successful applicant. They will also be a life-long learner and a role model of professional behaviour.
