About the role
International Grammar School is a leader in educational innovation. Our HSIE faculty is a large and creative department offering a wide variety of courses. The School has a current enrolment of 1250 students in a multi building campus.
This role is for an outstanding and enthusiastic teacher of Commerce to join our team from Term 2.
The position is a two day a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), 0.4 of a full time equivalent teaching load role. The position will run to the end of 2019 with the potential for a longer term appointment pending our future staffing needs. This is an ideal prospect for an early career teacher who is looking for an opportunity to join a supportive and innovative team.
About the successful applicant
This role calls for a dynamic and inspirational educator with a passion for teaching across the HSIE KLA. Ideally the successful candidate will have skills in teaching Commerce and other HSIE subjects. They will have the capacity to plan and implement high quality lessons that engage students and inspire them in their learning.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the NSW Curriculum. Well-developed ICT skills and demonstrated capacity to use such technologies in teaching are critical for this role.
Applicants must have a current Working With Children Number for NSW and hold accreditation with the NESA. Please ensure that your application include details of both your WWC check and NESA accreditation.
