Business and Compliance Officer (Part-time temporary)

International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, co-educational school situated across five sites in Ultimo and Glebe. There are 1270 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly efficient and enthusiastic Business and Compliance Officer to provide support to the School’s Finance, Maintenances and Compliance functions. The role also supports the work of the external Company Secretary.

This is a part-time appointment, replacing a staff member on maternity leave. The role will commence as soon as can be arranged and will conclude on Friday 16 April 2021, working three days per week from 8.30am to 4.30pm with scope for flexibility around working hours.

Essential Skills

We are seeking a person who has highly developed administrative skills, a strong attention to detail with well-developed technology skills, particularly in the use of databases, email and the MS Office and Google suite. They will have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn new skills and processes. This role will also require knowledge in WH&S practices.

The Business and Compliance Officer will work collaboratively with others to support and respond to the School’s strategic aspirations for limitless learning, empowered students and a sustainable future.
