Admissions Officer (Part time temporary)

International Grammar School is a secular coeducational school located across five sites in Ultimo and Glebe. We educate 1280 preschool to Year 12 students in a unique multilingual environment.

Role Description

This position calls for an enthusiastic Admissions Officer to join our dynamic Community Relations Directorate. The Admissions Officer provides support to the Director of Admissions and Marketing in the processing of new enrolments and facilitating student entries.

This is a part-time appointment, replacing a staff member on maternity leave. The role will commence from the beginning of Term 3 2020, Monday 20 July 2020 through to the end of Term 2 2021, Friday 18 June 2021 working Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm with scope for flexibility around working hours.

Essential Skills

This role calls for an enthusiastic person with good attention to detail and demonstrated skills in data entry and management. The successful applicant will have well-developed technology skills, particularly in the use of databases, email and the MS Office and Google suite. They will have good written and verbal communication skills and have an ability to learn new skills and processes and work at a fast pace. This role is a customer facing position and requires excellent interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Past experience in an educational setting
  • Past experience in data entry processing
