Information for applicants
All applicants seeking employment at the School must provide a full curriculum vitae that includes their qualifications and work history, contact details for two referees and a cover letter of no more than two pages that outlines their suitability for the role.
Working With Children Check
Applications for all child related roles must include details of a Working With Children Check, including an approval number and date of approval. For more information about this check visit Working With Children at www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/check.
Qualifications for Teaching Roles
Applicants for teaching roles should also include details of their accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), formerly BOSTES. The Institute of Teachers Act (2004) requires teachers in NSW to be accredited with NESA unless they are exempt due to having commenced teaching in NSW prior to 1 October 2004 and have taught in NSW in the last 5 years (known as 'existing teachers').
