Her work, called Momento Mori, was created as part of the Still Life and Vanitas art unit in Year 11.
“The work was inspired by the representation of women in media, specifically film and the damsel in distress storyline which is often created,” Francesca said.
“The work took approximately 30 hours to complete. Being a finalist is very exciting and I was very happy to be a finalist for the second year. I am very fortunate to be included in this exhibition and have my work selected.”
Momento Mori is now on display at the exhibition.
