Years 9 and 10 shine in Textiles and Design

Year 9 and 10 Textile Art students are enjoying learning the art of weaving, hand embroidery and thread sketching.

Student Krystal Tan said she has enjoyed doing shibori and using the embroidery hoops the most in class.

While students worked on diverse projects during the IGS Off-Campus Learning Program, she said she missed being able to work on her kimono while at home and is excited to start on her next portfolio, in which embroidery will be explored in greater detail.
