“The students have been well engaged in practical lessons to learn about the properties of water and the water cycle,” she said.
“One of the most delightful activities this term was mixing water with orange juice and then freezing the liquid to make a tasty solid icy pole.
“After the hard work of preparing the icy poles, the children enjoyed the cool treat in the peace garden the next day.”
Nicola said each student had the opportunity to pour, mix and taste.
Maestra commented on how engaged the students were and how a practical lesson reinforced all the structures the children had learnt during the week.
