Year 12 students working bright and early

HSC breakfast sessions for Year 12 students are helping them focus on key concepts.

The HSC sessions are hosted by a different Department each Tuesday morning from 8am.

“Our HSC breakfast sessions were designed with the objective of providing Year 12 IGS students with the opportunity to focus closely on key content from their HSC courses,” said Deputy Principal Academic Operations Lisa Kelliher.

“In some cases the objective of these sessions is to carry out revision of course content, while other sessions extend and expand existing knowledge.

“Students have commented that they value the opportunity to experience tertiary style lectures and that they have enhanced their skills and knowledge through their participation in the sessions.

“Sessions have been delivered in a wide range of courses, and will continue to be delivered for the remainder of the academic year.”

The session program can be viewed in the High School section of IGS Notices, for parents and caregivers.
