“Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve is one of the most biodiverse areas on the Sydney coast and is a sanctuary for iconic New South Wales species which are threatened in other places such as the blue groper, giant cuttlefish and weedy seadragon,” Euan said.
Euan investigated three matter which were chosen as the research basis for the report. These are, the nature of Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve, and the reserve restrictions an the response of individuals, community and government to the reserve.
As part of his research, Euan interviewed the owner of Dive Centre Manly and Environmentalist Richard Nichols as well as IGS alumnus and underwater cameraman Naysan Baghai.
